Casa de Marc Cerda

This week I had a blast diving into the wonderful world of Marc Cerda.
Marc is a musician, traveler, book enthusiast, an expert at chess
and one of the most interesting fellows I have ever met!
So honored to call him friend and to have him be a part of our first installment of
BedroomInvasions!
Marc lives in the most darling shack (I helped build it!).
Its walls are wildly painted; its structure is made of doors and gates!
Its such a magical nook.
His room has such a cozy feeling!
You instantly feel at home with his treasures so intentionally placed!
Most of the pieces were collected randomly--whether through traveling or thrifting--the other half: gifted to him by some special people
giving it a really great vibe!
I was so inspired by his collection of artwork!

When I asked Marc what is essential for him in every bedroom...
what makes him most comfortable?
He responded with some good advice:
"Books. I have to have books. It's like John Waters says,
If you go to someones house with the intention of sleeping with them..
and they have no books..
don't sleep with them"
